Communication: The Bridge Between Play and Learning in 5-6 Year Old Children
##plugins.themes.academic_pro.article.main##
Abstract
During the early preschool period, communication is an essential indicator of cognitive, emotional and social development, forming the foundation of school readiness. At this stage, language becomes a complex tool for cognition, expression and behavioral regulation, and the child moves from situational to contextualized and narrative communication. The development of vocabulary, grammatical structure and narrative ability is influenced by internal factors (cognitive level, memory, motor skills) and external factors (family environment, education, technology). Preschool education plays a decisive role, offering varied contexts of dialogue, play and reflection, which stimulate language and thinking. Personalized speech therapy interventions, collaboration between family and teachers and the use of interactive strategies contribute to the prevention and correction of communication difficulties. Future programs should include digital technologies and multimodal approaches, and research should explore the links between language and school performance.
