Defining Conceptual and Methodological Foundations in Initial Teacher Education
##plugins.themes.academic_pro.article.main##
Abstract
Initial teacher training is a complex and multidimensional process, which goes beyond the simple transmission of theoretical knowledge, involving the development of critical thinking, methodological and didactic skills, as well as the ability to adapt to the diverse needs of children and the challenges of contemporary education. The training process integrates conceptual and methodological coordinates, providing future educators with the theoretical and practical framework necessary for planning and carrying out educational activities. The conceptual coordinates, based on principles such as child-centeredness, continuity of learning, and holistic development, support the construction of a solid professional identity and the development of reflection, autonomy and creative skills. The methodological coordinates allow the practical application of theory, stimulating the experimentation of various teaching strategies, the evaluation of their efficiency and their adaptation to the real context of the group. The coherent integration of these coordinates contributes to the formation of competent, autonomous and reflective teachers, capable of responding to the challenges of modern education and promoting professional excellence.
