The Educational Model in Postmodernity: From Neuroplasticity to Conceptual Metaformation

Abstract

The article includes the analysis of theoretical-practical alternatives in which the educational model is perceived as a carefully simplified representation of a fundamental aspect of the educational process. Neuro- approaches to the learning model based on neuroplasticity are discussed; the metacognition model with its metalevel and object-level is addressed; a series of current educational and didactic models are described. In a reference analytical excursion, the pedagogical model is contextualized as a structured framework that guides the educational process.
