Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

The journal Didactica Pro… accepts for publication scholarly articles addressing various topics in the field of education. Manuscripts may be submitted in Romanian and English.

✓Requirements to Be Met

  • The topic addressed falls within the scope of Didactica Pro…
  • The study contains elements of originality and substantial scientific content.
  • The article demonstrates a rigorous logical structure and coherent scientific construction, complying with all applicable methodological standards.
  • The journal's technical requirements for formatting and layout are met (font, paragraph style, and method of citing bibliographic references).

⚙Evaluation Stages

  1. Preliminary check — the editors verify whether the article falls within the journal's field of interest.
  2. Peer review — the manuscript is sent for external evaluation by independent experts.
  3. Editorial board review — based on the evaluation and expert comments, the board makes the final decision.
  4. Author revision — where necessary, the author revises the article according to the recommendations received.
⏱ Submission Deadline

Manuscripts must be submitted 1.5–2 months before the anticipated publication date. The manuscript must be signed by the author, indicating the date of submission.

✎Article Structure

  • Title of the article (Times New Roman, bold, size 14, centered), together with an English translation;
  • Author(s) of the article — first and last name, academic title and degree, institutional affiliation, and e-mail address;
  • Abstract (Times New Roman, size 12, italic, approx. 150 characters, in both Romanian and English);
  • Keywords (5–7, in both Romanian and English);
  • Introduction;
  • Main content;
  • Conclusions;
  • Recommendations;
  • References.

❖Illustrative Material

  • Must be submitted in clear graphic format, in electronic form (JPG or TIF — minimum 300 dpi).
  • All images, charts, etc. must be accompanied by appropriate captions and the source indicated.
  • The number of the table, chart, or figure must be mentioned in the text, in parentheses — e.g.: (Figure 1); (Table 1).
  • An article may include 3–5 figures/diagrams/tables.

§References

Bibliographic references must comply with the requirements of Moldova's National Council for Accreditation and Attestation (CNAA).

  • In-text bibliographic notes are presented in their original language; titles of works are not translated or transliterated.
  • The reference list is placed after the main text of the article, in numerical sequence, in alphabetical order.
  • References to bibliographic sources are indicated in square brackets, inserted in the text — e.g.: [8].
  • If specific parts of a source are cited, the page must also be indicated — e.g.: [8, p. 231].

Copyright Notice

Each article submitted for publication undergoes peer review by two expert reviewers. These reviewers may be members of the Editorial Board of the journal Didactica Pro... or other representatives of the academic community in the Republic of Moldova and abroad. All reviewers hold the title of professor or associate professor/researcher and possess scientific expertise in the field covered by the article under review. Reviewers evaluate manuscripts using review forms, which they receive along with the articles to be reviewed.

The criteria underlying the peer-review process are: the relevance of the topic; the degree of originality and novelty of the proposed topic; the scientific basis of the content; a comparison of the results obtained with the findings described in the scientific literature in the respective field; the clarity and accuracy of the argumentation and scientific structure; the anticipated impact on the fields to which the article refers; scientific quality and accuracy; linguistic correctness; the clarity, conciseness, and accuracy of the text; the absence of errors, misconceptions, and ambiguities; the relevance of the bibliographic sources, etc.

The evaluation concludes with the reviewer providing specific comments regarding the form and content of the article and assigning one of the following three ratings:

Acceptance of the manuscript for publication, provided it meets the requirements in terms of scientific content and format;
Acceptance of the manuscript for publication, following corrections, additions, etc.;
Rejection of the manuscript for publication.

If there are major differences between the evaluations of the two reviewers, a third expert will be consulted. The author will be notified of the decision and the experts’ recommendations.

The reviews received are compiled by the editor-in-chief and the editorial staff in a separate file for each issue of the journal.
Upon receipt of the manuscript corrected and supplemented by the author (as appropriate, based on the experts’ recommendations), the article will be submitted to the same reviewers, who will decide on the appropriateness of its publication.

The final approved text of the article (following the revisions suggested by the reviewers and the editorial committee’s recommendation) is sent to the editorial staff member responsible for editorial planning, and the author is then informed of the date the article will go to press. The final decision regarding the publication of manuscripts rests with the editor-in-chief. The author of a rejected article has the right to submit other articles or a revised version of the rejected article for publication in a future issue of the journal.
The editorial board reserves the right to reject submissions that do not fit the journal’s scope or comply with technical publication standards, as well as those lacking scientific merit or that have been previously published in various forms in other journals or books.
Articles recommended for publication in the Didactica Pro… Journal must be accompanied by:
a statement of authenticity, signed by the author(s) for the material submitted for publication, in accordance with copyright law and for the purpose of combating plagiarism and forgery;
the author’s written consent for the material to be published.

Responsibility for the accuracy and veracity of the articles’ content rests with the signatories.
